Dr. Liladhar Bhatt Memorial Kalyan Samiti is dedicated to improving healthcare access in Uttarakhand’s remote and hilly regions, where medical services are scarce and often unaffordable. By addressing the healthcare challenges in rural areas, we aim to bridge the gap between need and access. Through consistent efforts like medical camps and specialized care facilities, we continue to bring hope and healing to the underserved, fostering healthier and more empowered communities.
Dr. Liladhar Bhatt Seemant Sewa Foundation
In partnership with Seemant Sewa Foundation, we have organized 58 medical camps this year, offering free consultations, medicines, and surgeries to underserved communities. These camps, supported by skilled doctors and volunteers, have transformed lives by providing much-needed care.
Our collaborative efforts also led to the establishment of an eye hospital in Pithoragarh, a border district of Uttarakhand. Since its inception, the hospital has served 9,969 OPD patients and performed 1,358 surgeries. Among these, 742 surgeries were conducted free of charge, and 616 were done at subsidized rates, ensuring inclusivity and affordability for all.
